Meanders a lot to get to the point, but boy it made me so happy that somebody wrote this.

It must be a primer for people who deny existence of caste in India.

Why caste will never be annihilated in India

Here's an example why: I recently met an elderly woman who insisted that the best doctors in Maharashtra were brahmins. She had formed this opinion because as a result of reservation her milkman's daughter, whom she tutored free of charge and who consequently passed her class 12 exams with barely 45 per cent, was today a practising doctor in Kalwa.

How would this young girl, who could barely grasp the basics of science or maths, treat people medically? This was a situation proliferated by reservation, she believed. Brahmins however, she said, have a genetic propensity towards knowledge and acquire it and disseminate it better. In short, she would only see a Maharashtrian brahmin doctor for her health.

okay. aame tappu maatram ani cheppatla. alaa undhi desham. close relatives ilanti maatalu anatam nenu vinna.

indulo reservations based on income ki emi sambandam ledhu. People have to change their mindset. Once someone graduates medical college, it means he/she's good.

dalits do not get extra marks for being dalits. Only stupid idiots like icecreamz here will say that.

ah, so victims are at fault here. or the people who speak up for victims, I see.

Not that I speak up for anyone, except here online. So I don't count. I'm just trying to understand.

Or may be its not OC's responsibility to fight those within them who start gajji just because a few dalits fight back.

awesome logic. Its always the dalits, and those who speak up for dalit rights rights, who are at fault.
