pravinyudu Posted May 3, 2016 Report Share Posted May 3, 2016 I saw a post in linkedIn today by one of my friends supporting the increase in H1 quota and I wondered whether the MBAs from top 15-20 Univ would have to go through this lottery process. If yes, I really feel bad for all of them. Considering the fact that they only have 12months OPT or 1 chance to hit the jackpot. A typical MBA grad from top 20 Univ in US spends 120-150K as fee and still fights with a guy who failed in 12-15 subjects and who spent 15K for his MS. There is no place for hard work and talent! There are approximately fewer than 3K MBA graduates every year and if you do the math based on number of applications received and selected for US higher education, only one-half of them hits the jackpot. 1.5K out of 3K didn't get H1.
