PM me for info, they are FDIC insured savings accounts, so no worry there. if you want to withdraw from FD(from India) to use that money at a later date, due to inflation and dollar exchange rate and hidden fees for transfer you will lose money. it's better to save here in those 5% interest rates savings accounts. If you refer to nerdwallet or doc of credit posts, they say that FDs in India which yeild 9% interest rate is valued at 1,25% savings account here in US considering inflation and dollar rate fluctuations, IF you want to settle here and spend that money here.
