I don't think so.

1. If they stop H1B, they will come up with something else which will be similar to that program.

2. H1B program is relatively a big money generation program for government which they don't want to loose it.

3. saripada resources leka they created H1B program, what I heard is even by 2020, they will not have enough resource to stop this program.

4. H1B people are not taking away American jobs. Companies are hiring service based companies (TCS, CTS, Infosys etc) to accomplish task. Those companies are either hiring people who expect less or import non-american people on L1/H1B. All the govt. needs to do is stop encouraging service based companies in USA which will solve majority of the issues here in US.

5. Hardly 1% of americans are affected by this program, but racha ekkuva avuthundi because of some of the L1/H1B people mentality/work style.....
