Mahesh Babu’s most awaited flick Brahmotsavam all set to hit the screens from May 20. Arrangements are being done in a grand way by fans. Just now we are told that the drives are reached to USA thus the premiers can be expected on time. On the other hand, it is also coming out that the film faces some problems in Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

It is a known fact that NTR, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan’s films will get huge release on an average 900 to 1000 theaters on first day and some times some of the them exceed 1000+ in AP/T. Similarly, Brahmotsavam is also expected to hit in maximum number of theaters but it seems there is a problem in getting good number. Going into details, Two of the big producers ( popularly known as Aa Naluguru in filmy circles) have been blocking the theaters for their respective movies, which were released few weeks back.

But the fact is that a recently released film, that is bankrolled by one of the above Aa Naluguru, has been declared as a flop at the Box office. After bloating wrong box office figures, now this act has become hot topic in the filmy circles. It is also heard that he doesn’t want to give the theaters just because he wants his film to complete 50 days in maximum number of centers. Right now, these Aa Naluguru filmy personalities hold 1300 theaters approximately in their hands!

Because of not getting required number of theaters, 24 movie was released only in 300 theaters in Telugu states where as it got 160 locations in overseas and more than 200+ screens out side AP/T ( for Telugu version alone ). It felt short of 100 screens in Andhra Prasdesh/Telangana and due to this Suriya’s film lost 2 to 3 crores revenue. This is completely an unhealthy trend for Telugu Film Industry. As you all aware that collections for any movie are very important and having said that this generation just talks about collections instead of 50 days and 100 days.

Even most of our film makers are maintaining a gap of 2 weeks to three for every big film so that they earn the maximum amount in those days. If only a big star like Mahesh Babu, who is in super form with blockbuster Srimanthudu, faces troubles in getting theaters for his film then what is the condition of other heroes!!! The Theaters problem is news from few years but sadly, none can dare to talk against Aa Naluguru. This type of ” ONLY ” or “MYSELF” mentality has already effected Tollywood severely and now with the latest activities, it further damages TFI credibility.
