Rana Daggubati had high hopes on Baahubali when he has readily agreed to play the baddie in it. He expected that the film will make him overnight superstar, but in spite of the film’s historical success, Bhallaladeva is not getting offers from top directors.

Rana's career graph hasn’t seen any rise after Baahubali and going by the offers that he has been receiving it seems like he is still at the same point where he was at prior to Baahubali.

With no big offers coming his way, Rana decided to gamble with Teja, who has been struggling to find form from ages.

As a matter of fact, Rajamouli’s heroes have seen heights after working with him, but his villains hardly succeeded thereafter. Looks like Bhallaladeva too has fallen into the same category.
