I am only familiar with TamilNadu politics. Both Muthharasu, and Thirumavalavan will rank as the best leaders in TN.

Too bad both of them lost even their seats this time.

I haven't seen an upper caste leader in TN who can debate and win these guys. Plus he's very knowledgeable about TN's history, needs of the state (including of dalits). There may be leaders like that elsewhere too.

both CBN and gujarat govt. are wrong. doing a caste census every 10yrs at the state level and revising reservation criteria is the only way.

anyway a dalit CM conducted a caste census. Nobody else did.

Actually I haven't proposed anything. I'm just happy at what a dalit CM is doing. Doing a caste census will mean govt. has clear idea on how to target benefits, instead of random people claiming that their caste deserves to BC/OBC or whatever.

Looks like no CM in India has done it before.

your analogy is absolutely silly, unless you think a state is a mental asylum.

caste census will obviously look at economic criteria too, urban/rural divide, access to basic necessities divide, etc. that's what a census does.

G balisina SC CM ayithe, no benefit antaav. Upper caste CM ayithe enti benefit? vaalla vaalla caste vaaallaki important posts ivvatama. same chestaademo G balisina SC CM. dalit representation peruguthundemo police, IAS la lo. it doesn't matter if they are rich or poor.

TN lo reservation punyamaa, ee roju top rankers lo 70% OBC, only 5% OC. It is in line with the population percentage of OCs in TN.
