Nandamuri Balakrishna's 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni first schedule has been completed recently in Morocco. The schedule didn't require heroine, since they canned action sequence on Balayya and Kabir Bedi. It is heard that, the film unit has erected a set resembling a ship in the outskirts of Hyderabad for another big war scene.

Seems like, the makers are finding difficulties as search is still on for heroine for the flick. Nayanthara was original choice for the film being directed by Krish, but she couldn't allot call sheets owing to other commitments. Then, Anushka name was heard. Freshly, fading out heroine Shriya Saran is rumored to finalize to play the role of princess in the biopic film.

If the news is true, it will be a life time offer for Shriya who is not getting any offers in Telugu. She was last seen in a cameo role in Nagarjuna's Oopiri. Balakrishna and Shriya previously paired up in 2002 film Chennakeshava Reddy.

Usually, it takes long time to wrap up historical films made on grand scale. However, the makers of Gautamiputra Satakarni have plans to wrap up the movie in few months time and release it for Sankranthi, next year.
