It applies to cricket as well..!!

How? England doesn't care as much about the world cup, as they care about the Ashes.

Plus, they did win Champions Trophy and/or World T20.

Well, The game of cricket has been in existence since 16th century if am not wrong...

Agreed..England feels Ashes is more prestigious than any other major ICC event..

Apart from World T20 they haven't won anything big..They are yet to win the ICC world cup..

Doubt bro. Whoever I pick, always falls by the wayside.

I picked Thiem 2yrs back. He just won a few 500s here and there, and made it close to top ten just now.

Same fate befell Grigor Dimitrov too. He is nowhere to be seen now.

Do you think its the right time for me to stop supporting Thiem?

But peak Djokovic will lose to peak Federer, although he may nose ahead of peak Nadal. This is my opinion.

Too many awesome players to pick from. Such variety existed in the 90s. My favourite is brazilian player Gustavo Kuerten. Now Richard Gasquet, and Dominic Thiem among upcoming ones.

There's no such thing as 'great'. Only the most 'successful'. In this case, I think Federer is still the most successful tennis player ever.

narsi, ga, Sampras and Fed are greatest players  Prakashnagar
