Has Babu Really Inspired Satya Nadella?

Chandrababu Naidu's claims that he had inspired Satya Nadella to take up IT career and reach the pinnacle of the global software field as he went onto become the CEO of one of the top IT companies in the world, Microsoft, didn't go down well with a section of his detractors.

Soon after Babu's claims at a recent event, social media has been buzzing nonstop with sarcastic jibes and trivial information about the mismatched timeline of Satya Nadella's higher education in the US and his rise in the American IT industry and Babu's allegedly 'false' claims.

Satya Nadella received his MS Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the year 1990. He later graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA degree, before joining Sun Microsystems for a brief period and finally Microsoft in the year 1992.

On the other hand, Babu became the CM of AP in 1994 and it took him some time to revolutionize the IT scene in Hyderabad. In this scenario, Babu's claims look totally out of sync with Satya Nadella's rise.

With this, one can't help but wonder whether Babu really inspired Satya Nadella or not, even though he had inspired lakhs of Telugu youths to enter the software field.
