Modi is a politician, he is in public house from last 13 years where as Trump is a business man and never been in a public house till date. as you quoted "Trump is playing on politics"

I hope that answers your question

Trump has been in politics since the 90s. He has worked closely with the senior Bush campaign and was a huge donor too. He has been making bombastic statements forever.

American political system doesn't require one to hold a public office to run for president, so his engagement with politics is enough to understand it. Indian politics is more representative, and someone like Trump could never get through the system.

Unless ofcourse, he watches over a massacre, and lies about how effectively he ran a state (gujarat). Just like how Trump lies about him being a billionaire.

two different political systems. Similar kind of leaders.

The report sounds harmless use of each other's base for 'repair and replenishment'. But what use would India have for an American military base? and where?

Its funny that the press is not questioning Modi on anything. Just like they didn't while UPA was in power.

but modi bhakts are intolerable assholes.

Yes let me repeat it again, as you said we might not be big players here, we don't have that many weapons or reactors. But NSG is a suppliers group, we will get the freedom to give and take with important countries. I don't think India is any worse than some NSG countries. It is a privilige. India can get additional sharing options if it is in the group. So not bad in trying or aspiring.

Okay. NSG is alright. India is too powerful to be ignored for long anyway. Its just a natural progression of being allowed to be supplied fuel by the NSG.

If you are following politics of nuclear energy closely, you'd probably be able to tell if the deal India got was worth it or not. I don't.

no one talked here about capabilities of Trump running for president............so you are comparing trump statements with Modi active politics.

I am not sure why you are bringing up the gujarat massacre here, i think supreme court has given a clean chit for that. i think you believe in judicial system in india which is a autonomous body.

pity on you man, you make some allegations with your loose tongue and try very hard to support them

do you think Trump will go around making statements like he does now, if he becomes president? He may do it once or twice whenever his popularity is dwindling. he's not dumb.

pity on yourself man. Did Modi use anti muslim rhetoric in elections or not? Who cares if Supreme court gave him clean chit. He used anti muslim sentiment to come to power, and its wrong to call him out for that?

Trump reminds me of Modi, except he was born rich, and is the quintessential American asshole. Whereas Modi is the Hindutva asshole.

ee statement chadivava-

" Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and visiting US Defence Secretary Ashton Carter made it clear that the agreement, to be signed in “weeks” or in the “coming months,” does not entail the deployment of American troops on Indian soil. "

Mana desam chuttu China enni countries tho tie ups pettu kuni m-dda lo veshalu vesthundo telsuko...this helps us to regulate the authority of china over Indian ocean and south Asia. Not only that, if in future an "Airlift" Situation arises; this is a lot helpful for our country. This is mutually beneficial.

edhedho chepthunnav. I asked a simple question. bilateral use of bases ani vesaru ga, India ki which US base is important ani cheppu.

Also India was always a non aligned nation. by allowing US to use india's bases, it gives more reason for India's enemies to target the country. I think its a pointless move.

Manaki middle-east bases and South china bases(Indonesia and other minor Islands) are very helpful.

We haven't let them fly over our air space; it's just a facility to maintain inventory
