Hindus lost so many wars, its laughable. They were ruled over for such a long time. If only they treated their own a little, just a little better, may be they could have defeated all those invaders/rulers together.

It doesn't matter. Hindus lost, and the counter revolutionary Hindu kingdoms like Marathas behaved worse than earlier muslim rulers. Read about Maratha kingdom.
