Major credit cards cover complete collision damage and bodily damage bro..

They cover only if a collision happens: like some vehicle hits you and your car is under collision claim

option2: If you have a full insurance on your own car...just add rental car coverage in that for just very few bucks

Option3: Getting their(Herz or etc) coverage...

Even in their coverage there will bve 3 types 1) just liability, which is same as ur credit card which will cover ur collision but doesnt cover if u go hit them 2) full coverage little expensive covers everything both(if u get hit or if u hot someone) 3) full coverage with very fancy highly coverage like 150k bodilly damage, 250k accidental damages n 350k health damage, work exepnses etc

So basic ga after ur accident: based on type of accident ur coverage kicks in

If u just booked by credit card ur primary coverage will be credit: which kicks in first...ante credit card will cover only if u get hit not if u go n hot someone...

If u do not get full insurance from them and reject it, as u personally have full insurance on ur personal car...and u add rental coverage on it - ur personal one acts as primary irrespective to credit card.

My best suggesion is : I never take insurance, as my personal car have full insurance and I add rental car coverage for just 4-5 bucks when I go to trips.

If it is just small higway trip - just credit card collision damage coverage...

dount unte adugu bhayya...office lo khaali ga unna...ok na bye

bro credit cards collision cover chesthay kani different credit cards different limits. almost 25k ah range lo untadhi max coverage. and they act as a secondary insurance only if your primary insurance doesn't cover.

best call your cc provider to get the deatails on coverage limits.

Liability full insurance unte neeku kuda untadhi ankunta any car u drive (not sure on this). Nenu na friend oke policy, vadu cheppadu ila ani nenu blind follow aythunna (about liability).

yes credit cards will cover, but just in case if its your fault, they will without mohamatam bill you the max amount claimed by the opposite party and on top of it 28% apr on that amount, that is how credit cards make business on collision protection. They dont even feel shy to dispute the amount, maximum the opposite party claims more business they make. For them its a business, so think twice before using credit cards.

sorry bayya but wrong info..

Hertz/enterprise vadiche liability: this covers the car you hit (if it is your mistake).. will not cover your rental car.. This is state mandatory insurance you have to have whether you drive your car or rental car..

Hertz/enterprise vaadu iche full insurance: It covers his car only.. it doesn't cover the car you hit.. you will get a ticket for not having liability insurance and you will be responsible for all the damages to opposite car..

My advice:

If you don't have your own car and any sort of insurance:

Take liability insurance (~ $15) and decline full insurance..all most all credit cards pay for the rental car damage

If you have your own car and insurance for your personal car:

Option 1:

Take liability insurance (~ $15) and decline full insurance..all most all credit cards pay for the rental car damage.. tension free

Option 2:

Take full insurance(~ $20 to 30) decline liability: Your personal car insurance will provide liability to the rental car you drive..

Option 3:

Decline all insurances: In case of accidents of your fault: your insurance will cover other car and rental car and your deductibles apply..

Remember: when you use your personal insurance liability to drive rental car, when it comes to paying the damages to rental car, your insurance will be primary and credit card company will become secondary.. for example: If you hit and totalled a Porsche (70k) if your insurance limit is 50k, your insurance will pay 50k and your credit car will pay 20k.

Bold are my options
