Renowned actor and JV Somayajulu's younger brother JV Ramana Murthyi breathed his last yesterday June 22nd. Ramana Murthy was born on 20 May 1933 in Vizianagaram district and featured in as many as 150 films; some of them as male lead too and most as character artist. 

He however, shot to fame with super hit film 'MLA' which was released in 1957. His roles in films like 'Manchi Manasuku Manchi Rojulu', 'Maangalya Balam', 'Baatasaari', 'Baavaa Maradallu', 'Maro Charithra', 'Siri Siri Muvva', 'Gorintaaku', 'Shubhalekha', 'Andhra Kesari', 'Ananda Bhairavi', 'Aarya' and 'Shankardada Zindabad' have earned him great name.
