Big Dreams For Hema Aunty

Fondly known as Hema Aunty, senior character artiste Hema has been enthralling her fans with her typical comedy in over 450 movies from the past three decades. The actress visited the Sri Sairam Gokulam in Veeralankapalli in East Godavari yesterday and interacted with the media.

Revealing her dream character, Hema said that she wants to play the role of a powerful cop on the screen. Hema further expressed her desire to set up a film studio Rajamundry surroundings and revealed that her husband is well known cinematographer  John, who shot the recently Kundanapu Bomma.

Talking about her political aspirations, Hema, who is currently part of the MAA Executive Committee, said that she will never contest as an MLA, but will strive hard to serve people through any political party that is working for the welfare of the people.

It is well known that in the 2014 general elections, Hema contested as an MLA in the Mandapeta constituency in East Godavari district through former Chief Minister K Kiran Kumar Reddy's Jai Samaikyandhra Party, but lost the elections with a huge margin.
