Lotto shoes baguntayi check out Lotto Stratosphere. I also played with New Balance but they disappointed, same with Asics great running shoes not so great tennis shoes. Nike Court Ballisetic best one I have played with and most durable too, Adidas Barricades are stiff but good as well and that's the one I am playing with now. One of my colleagues (thellodu) is around 50yrs old and he also does coaching to high school kids and take them to near by cities for tournaments. Extra income and best exercise. Naa friend okadu tellodu retired he's 58 years old. He is super fit and still plays at a 4.5 level consistently. He makes around 110k just over 6 months by conducting camps and teaching tennis at Stan Smith's academy in HIlton Head Island, South Carolian. Plus he gets retirement and social security benefits along with other investment related income. He teaches tennis in the spring, summer and goes skiing for 3-4 months in winter. Plus has a contract for 3 months every year in a club in the Dominican Republic, he even brought a condo there. To me it's a no brainer, I love the sport and want to develop/devise new techniques etc if I can.

Basic beginner if you can hit the ball back over the net I would say is a 2.5. Default beginner starts at 2.0. 3.0 antey you need to atleast hit 3 shots in a row over the net and deep into the opponent's court. If you can serve a consistent first serve and can hit the ball with good depth and direction you might be a lower 3.5. 3.5 level has the highest variance, there are 3.5's who are as good as the 4.0s and there are the ones who are barely 3.5s
