He is playing Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni in 100th film with same title. Krish is the director. Meanwhile, Balakrishna 101st film is also announced yesterday in Anantapur by the hero himself. Title of the film is Rythu and creative Krishna Vamshi will be the director. Balakrishna is an ideal choice for rural backdrop characters. He essayed an agriculturalist in many village based films with family values, traditions. Rythu is going to be different. Krishna Vamshi is also an accomplished director makes best use of scenic beauty in villages. He prepared a pro-farmer friendly script for Rythu which Balakrishna agreed previously before hearing to Gautamiputra Satakarni script. Balakrishna pledged Krishna Vamshi to do this as his 101st film. Rythu essentially deals with issues of farmers and government’s farmer friendly policies. This movie can be a treat for Nandamuri fans because Balakrishna should sport a dhoti for this characterization.
