In 2013, I transfered to a new employer in the same situation. And it was done with no issues. In that case, I joined right after the petition was approved. The reason am asking the question here even though my petition was approved in such scenario is because am trying to help a friend who is in the same situation and one of his new employer is saying it is possible and other is saying it is not possible.
