Daughter of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP from Nizamabad Kalwakuntla Kavitha has recently kicked up a controversy by raising “Jai Andhra” slogan at the American Telugu Association meeting held in Chicago and she has drawn flak in the social media.

However, on her return to India, Kavitha strongly defended her slogan. “I said Jai Andhra and Jai Telangana. What is wrong in it? Should I not appreciate my neighbouring Telugu state?
