I was an RSS/BJP supporter. Just ask around in this db 3yrs back. I wrote multiple comments like this in their support. But there is something vulgar about supporting a ruling party, under silly notions of religion, and nation.

again....i am tired of repeating myself....it shouldn't/doesn't matter to RW that people who will anyway wont vote for them are laughing/criticizing everything they do....modi did well in ignoring them for 12 long years in gujrat and for all I know and care it will work in center too...just ignore..and concentrate on electoral gains....morals are not for politicians...too easy a trap to fall into - never to come out from.....

Lets see if BJP can win the UP election. If it does, I'll concede that you are right, that people in India are happy with BJP, and shut up about this forever.

What's the use, you ask? you get to poke me around, for my failed understanding of Indian psyche. especially the 'youth' part.

technically, its a win-win for me. It'll make me happy that Indians are actually 'aspirational', because for all their faults BJP is the aspirational party. And when reality strikes them after electing BJP, may be they'll do something about it.

Its fine if BJP gets into a coalition and wins. unless the coalition is headed by BSP, in which case, I win. because dalit politics makes more sense than Hindutva crap.

it would be tough for bjp in uttar pradesh assembley elections as they dont have strong state leader.in 2019, i am sure they will again do well irrespective of 2017. however i do wish it does well in 2017 too so that it can shut some people like you off albiet for a while.
