yes sleeves will help - i use cho pat brand - also go to podiatrist , shinsplints issue arises from your foot - but be aware that any custom orthotics provided by podiatrist wont be covered by insurance in 95% of cases - usually thry run around 350$

also dont over do - u have to increase very very slowly 

most importantly dont run until you fully fully recover - do elliptical .cycling

also use lot of ice - i bough a good sleeve whcih can hold ice packs - but this is only handling the symptom

i run everyday bro,,,sores ante r u a beginner,,beginner ithey common sores for 3 days, regular ithey in between foot  ni twist cheyi clockwise,,,and then other leg,,,pain relief untadi then....i have been running since 4 years,,,no pains for me....i do a lot of stretches when i am on treadmill...also try getting a foot and leg massage you should be good..

have to use good running shoes as well, like NIKE UA...good luck...

yes sir,,i love running,,,daily 1 hr on treadmill which i spend 40 mins running,,,and then i do eliptical for 45-60 mins,,,for my hamstrings, quads, glutes and calves,,they're all toned btw,,,

i love muscles,,BTW i am a fitness freak,,,,
