Agreed visio soundbar is best to start with. It really depends on your home. I'm in a town home single car garage and found that visio soundbar did the job. Got it in costco fo 150. If you are in abigger home and are not worried about your neighbors go for a better one. Also  one footnote is soundabars never can match thw performance of individual speaker system with receivers.

sorry if i confused you.

The caveat here with the speakers with receiver is , they are wired. Sound bars can be wireless and no mess.

Now a days sound bars performance and the quality is very much improved and almost matches with that of mid level home theaters.

Size peddaga unna parledu ante, Harmon Kardon HKTS16 try cheyyi. It is an older model but very well worth the money. Deeniki receiver undali.

Size constraints ante MonoPrice speakers try ccheyyi. Naaku bose low price range lo peddaga baaga anipinchadu, but personal taste.

I personally have Fluance

http://www.fluance.com/fluance-series/xl-series-5-1-surround-sound-home-theater-speaker-system

They are very very big but sound super. Whatever speakers model you go, if you are buying a receiver get a full range one like 4K, Wireless, 7.2 etc

Chinnadi koni, adi future lo speakers maariste ammaleka unchukoleka gola. See what works best for you.
