Calling all MAVNI folks

Just got word that my shipping got delayed by 6 months . It sucks man, India plans undey next year endo ippudu ika aa paristithi. MAVNI guys just letting you know, please keep in touch with your SGTs and find this out in advance, and plan accordingly. 

chaala mandiki ilane avutondanta MAVNI forum lo esaru facebook lo. Plus ippudu both NIAC and SSBI rendu clear avvandey no shipping anta unlike earlier where if your NIAC is good and SSBI is pending you could still ship. Delays will be very common now folks.

SsBi takes minimum 12 to 16 months..

 

If your niac didn't come favourable yet..then to say..just forget about mavni..

There are people.intervuewed in February and still delayed.. it will be forever before you get shipped..

Maa Frnd ki April 8th enlist ayyadu

fbi check means investigator comes to you and interview you right ??

he just finished yest.

also his frnds whom he gave character references also finished interviews?? 

Are you referring this or something different

It will be delayed perhaps but that doesn't mean you are out of the program. So no point in giving up, it's better than waiting for 20+ years for the Green Card.

Inka raley, as per new rules once the background check is done he once again has to go to MEPS and choose the actual job and get the actual shipping date. 

As of now we were enlisted with a dummy job and shipdate one year from the date of enlistment.

That's not the actual date but tentative. also we signed for 5yrs which includes this waiting period. Again there would be new contract. They say it will take one year but again it's not complete year for you to get shipped that's tentative.

ippudu chala issues nadustunnay.. coz of security reasons... mainly chala mandiki last 10 years lo US lo unna history takkuvundi kabatti ee issues.. moreover military is downsizing.. so ekkuva delay aithe they may terminate the contract and call you when needed. You will be first preference whenever the process is complete... 

Just be patient and dont forget to maintain status while this is going on..
