Worked in similar company. I was the first FT employee. Used to do everything technical & functional. Every alternate day happy hour. We got contract for 300K (of course Deloitte bid for 500K). We finished the project in 3 months with 1.5 FT. That .5 was my boss/founder (American). Margin was 200K and was paying me 72K per annum. Exactly after 1 yr I left the company because of his rudeness. In one instance, he literally said to one OPT guy get out and never come back in front of a client.
