Rahul To Visit Mallanna Sagar Villages?

It would appear that the Congress party is wanting to give the Mallanna Sagar submergence issue a national point by including its top national leaders.

According to sources, the Congress high command had obtained a detailed report from the party leaders in Telangana on the Mallanna Sagar issue and felt that it had all the potential to become a national issue that would bring a lot of mileage to the party in the coming days.

Truth be told, it was the UPA government which had acquired the Land Acquisition Act, 2013 and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had effectively used it to fight against the UP government in the past.

Sources said Rahul has now agreed to come to Medak to call on the farmers of affected villages and get the first hand information of the issue.
