Hyderabad, DallsJuly 29: Telangana IT and NRI Affairs Minister KT Rama Rao today urged the Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju to take steps to run direct flight to Dallas and New York cities and help the students, USemployees and businessmen going the US. 

Participating at a seminar chaired by Ashok Gajapathi Raju to roll out a new aviation policy attended by all states and stakeholders in Delhi, KTR vouched for improving air connectivity to regional areas and two-tier cities. He stressed the need for better infrastructure in place at the regional level in Telangana with a focus on infrastructure development. 

He also urged the Union ministers to take steps for reviving regional and small airports in the state includingWarangal, Adilabad, Basanthpur, Nagarjuna Sagar and Nalgonda.
