no uncle i got CA PR and I bought house, then went to Canada for 3 yrs got Citizenship and came back sold in Columbus, OH and bought big house in NC

not true in case of house I have list of people who sold their house more than 100 K profit in less than 7 years..

Emi maatladutunnavu man. Car correct eh. It will depreciate for sure.

But illu 90% of cases lo value increase avutundhi. Nakku telisina chaala mandhi illu konnaru. Current price is more than what they paid. There is a reason why property taxes increase every 2-3 years.

House prices depreciate ayyedhi in these cases:

1. Buying in bubble market and selling in bust market

2. Value of entire neighborhood going down due to increase in crime, people finding out that environment there is polluted because of some old factor etc, metro or subway opening in your area. Ikkada reverse. India lo metro open avuthe property value perguddhi but here taggudhi.
