BJP national president Amit Shah said the Centre had already given over Rs 50,000 crore to the state, while union finance minister Arun Jaitely said the State had been given more than what it was entitled to under 14th finance commission. But, on Monday, the Centre had admitted in writing that it had given special financial assistance to AP to the extent of only Rs 6,403 crore till March 31, 2016.
