Nehru has virtually been in political obscurity as far back as the Congress was wiped out of Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation. Though he wanted to go into the YSR Congress party, there is no place for him there because of the caste factor. So, he has no option but to look towards the ruling party to get back into political limelight. Moreover, Nehru was originally in the TDP, before shifting loyalties to the Congress.
