Mr Modi, Beware Of Our Balayya!

At a time when the demand for special category status to Andhra Pradesh has generated a lot of heat and dust in the state, there is also a comical element newly added to it. And that is the threat by senior actor and Telugu Desam Party MLA from Hindupur Nandamuri Balakrishna.

On Thursday, Balakrishna threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi of dire consequences, if the Centre did not grant special category status to AP.

“It is our right. And there is no need to beg for it. The Centre has no way but concede the demand of five crore Telugu people. If Modi ignores our demand, he should be prepared to face the consequences,” the actor warned.

And this has triggered a series of comments on the social networking sites and blogs. One senior journalist advised Modi to step up security around him and not to show up when he comes to Hyderabad on August 7.

“Because our Balayya is capable of killing you with his mere looks. You don’t know Balayya. If he thumps his thigh, even trains will run backwards,” he warned.

Another netizen commented that Modi may have to give up politics and take sanyas in Himayalas, if he listens to Balakrishna’s observations on special category status. Any doubts? Please watch this video.
