It is a known fact that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is a staunch Christian. In fact, his father late chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy never tried to hide his Christian faith and he used to visit Jerusalem on his birthday every year.

Jagan’s mother Vijayalakshmi always carries a Bible in her hand and his brother-in-law Anil Kumar is a Christian evangelist. And his Lotus Pond complex itself has a huge church in its premises.

So, it was naturally surprising for everybody to see Jagan going to Rishikesh and participating in the Chaturmasya Vratham organised by Sarada Peetham.

He performed special poojas for hours together and participated in the rituals. And his media managers released his pictures participating in Hindu rituals to the media within minutes.
