Denver defense remained the same. they won superbowl with that defense. so peyton leaving should not impact them.

keep dreaming, Peyton managed the game so well like Alex Smith at Chiefs. You need an experienced and poise QB to do that. If not it will be like Texans team who can turn the ball 6 times but offense couldn't score a FG
