With the hopes of getting special status dashing off, AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu intensified fight against union government to get its due share.

Naidu said the package of nearly Rs 1300 crore announced by centre is nominal and that it will not help to address the state’s financial crisis.

Babu demanded Prime Minister Modi government to announce special package for Andhra Pradesh on par Bhundelkhand was given. He wondered why the centre was not serious to fulfill all the promises made in the AP reorganization act.
