Director N Shankar might have been away from the media glare from longtime now. The director of Jai Bolo Telangana was in news last time when he had claimed he would be teaming up with Kamal Haasan. However, it didn’t materialise and Shankar had been away from limelight.

The latest is that Shankar is back in headlines after long hiatus. He has beaten the star producers of film fraternity and bagged the Telugu remake rights of Malayalam super hit Two Countries.
