Apple spends the lowest for R&D among the big companies ba.

Don't go for Android. Try Jolla. Their new s/w SailFish OS is awesome. Its a bit like BlackBerry OS, but has better Android portability.

Jolla did come out of Nokia. That gorgeous Finnish beauty.

PROS are they dont restrict like apple does.. u can dump what ever stuff u want ...like movies and songs drag and drop ... u cant o in apple... u hv hv itunes installed...ringtones lolli mali..  software restrict u to install few stuff... cons koncham battery life thakuva...koncham endhuku ananu ante ..emadhya apple kuda alane ayindhi....style wise every 6 months ki 3-4 phones samsung...
