I would recommend getting an airbnb or vrbo in pearl city.. thats the center of the island.. it will save hours of drive time.. 

start day early before sunrise and after sunset ekkuva em undadhu..

you will also find calm and peaceful airbnb places on sea coast.. manchi waves sound tho sunrise chustu day start cheyachu.. but travel time will increase..

pickup car from airport, costco/samsclub will be nearby to get bare minimums.. like water, and breakfast(if you want to save some money)

thrilling places:

shark diving(weather should be permitting so chances 50-50 untai)

oahu submarine scooter(good for non-swimmers, you can get groupons)

surfing, boogie boarding

parasailing, jetski etc sports - h20 sports

if you love hikes:

diamond head

koko crater(difficult hike, but worthy for a good lifelong memory)

manoa falls

touristy places:

kualoa ranch..(damn scenic drive and place).. 

waikiki beach/nightlife

pearl harbor

beaches:

waikiki

turtle beach(peru gurtuledu) it will be in north shore 

lanikai beach

I loved snorkeling in hanauma bay.. actualga 2-3 hours ani plan chesi vellam.. but spent almost two half days there.. 

must dos:

do atleast one luau.. I visited polynesian cultural center.. oka day antha akkade.. its a local thing.. if u want to experience culture(though its all staged), some ppl find luaus  overrated

must eat:

giovanni shrimp truck

matsumoto shave ice

malasadas in leonard's bakery
