Yeah nothing wrong. Just wanted to make sure.

if he has an attitude to work hard and give best, and not married yet, then I would suggest him to take it. With the brand value, and kind of work culture Apple has, will be worth it.

My only suggestion is, if he is married then double think, if kids then I would say no. That's because, changing careers(tech to pm) and job will fetch you lot of additional responsibilities and you will end up putting lot of extra hours.
