All,

Recently I have attended the h1 b visa stamping for extension and they have given me the yellow slip and I have the valid visa till month end so I have entered into United States . Visa officer told me that they will be requesting the passport through email . Iam planning to go back to Canada when ever I receive the email and can you please let me know some has have faced the same issue?

hmm...strange...old valid visa medha enter avvacha..in case your new visa is pending with 221g... can you check with attorney to be on safe side?

me: extension

vo: how long you are working for the employer?

me: since xxx years

vo:do you have previous employer?

Me: yes worked for xxx employer 

vo: how long you are in USA and stayed xxx yes on h1b

Me: since xxx yrsand told done masters in xxx university 

vo: what have you done on masters?

me: worked on opt for xxx company and transferred to xxx company( current employer name)

vo : what you do for the employer?

me: working as programmer analyst and work for so and so end client also told roles and responsibilities that I perform 

vo: do you have any research documents?

me : I have given the answer NO at that time. She has typed something and asked to provide resume as well as ds-160. Told that we need couple of weeks for processing and will send u an email then you need to send passport.

Simple your masters not related to work you are doing now.

 

you need to contact advocate to support this case ASAP.

FYI I have done my masters and under graduate in computer science only. My thinking is she just want to confirm whether I have done my masters in good university and compare the job which iam doing is related or not . Iam guessing

Is your UNIV accredited ?

Then y no project / research if univ is good ? That might be her question and how did u graduate without research ? She might send a note to your Dept Advisor how they let you graduate without proper reamsearch, this process may take time so be prepared
