nenu US nunchi return ochinaaka one of my close friends approached me with the business idea , so myself and 2 of my other friends invested in it , company lo 51% stake business plan tho approach aina friend gaadi paina and other 49% on us , Initially i had abt 17.5% stake but one of the other partners left in like 4 months so 2 of us bough out his share too , right now each of us partners have 24.5% stake in the main company and the CEO guy has 51% stake ....

after we set it up , the CEO guy got a support project from singapore , daanlo maaku appatlo monthly around 4-5 lakhs ochetiyi that used to pay for the salaries and monthly maintenance, parallely he used to work on a MMORPG game like hearthstone ,  like 7 months after we set it up , the singapore company that gave the support contract wanted to buy us for around 1.7Million $ , we thought a lot about selling the company at that point , but finally decided not to do it , 

Comedy ga in one of the drinking sessions i said to my other friends that we should set up another company to deal with the support projects and the main company should entirely focus on creating games of our own  , we ended up going with tht plan and setup another company as a subsidiary to the main company , 

All the other guys who are involved have their own personal businesses to take care of ,  so i negotiated with my friends to get a 51% stake in the new subsidiary company on a condition that i'll take care of it full time .. and I've been doing the same  ever since 

maaku support project ichina company tho my friend negotiated a better deal , maaku support work unna lekapoina the client company has to give us billing for 300hours a month @ 50$/ hour ... so we get about 10lakhs a month in billing from the client ,  we have 1 lead developer , 3 mid level developers , one UI/UX guy and another graphic designer .. for those people we're paying about 3 lakhs in total as salaries , myself and 2 of the other partners draw 1.5lakh/month each in salaries .. intha chesina we're still left with 3lakhs in excess per month...also , we setup our company in an IT sez and all our billing is coming from overseas so we literally pay zero tax on it ..

nenu ippudu kuda intha free ga undedi enduku ante the lead guy takes care of the majority of the work , just client communication nenu handle chestha , we keep these guys in the dark about the client , they just know what the're working on but they have no idea who the client is ... that way we're being on the safe side if one of them leaves the company in the future , Most of the times if i have access to internet and a phone i'll be able take care of my work...

so recently about 2-3 months we sold the MMORPG game to Disney for around $350k and a support contract from disney when it goes live ,  ... ma main company CEO gaadu he got another game concept that he's gonna start working on ... disney nunchi contract start aindi ante deifinitely ippudu unna valuation ki 4-5 times avuddi our valuation for both the companies put together , 

our aim is to increase the revenues and sell the company for $10Million in 2-3 years down the line , its a very steep target but I'm pretty confident that we'll be able to achieve it ..

ever since we sold our product to disney , countless people have approached us asking us to invest in the company , even couple of people in TS govt who are actively investing in hyd based startups have approached us , but we're just keeping it to ourselves for now , we're not really in need of capital right now so we decided not to dilute our equities ...

Total product dev divison start chey , i guess am behind the curve. Iam going after ios apps now. Eventually i want to start-up my own firm, but i will be releasing apps soon into apple store, have a dev id :D.First break vaste, i will scale up and setup an IT firm in my hometown. Hire some engg grads and manage the dev. Long story short, these are very exciting times. Congrats on your success buddy. If you dont mind i would like to use your journey in a blog  interview?

IOT kaadu kaani , we're planning to get in to virtual reality , full scale lo kaadu kaani just try chedham ani plan undi , if u make a decent VR game u can flip it for some quick profits .. because FB is trying really hard to dominate the VR space.... recently at a developers conference, it bought out every single game studio that's making VR games to make sure that they only release Oculus exclusive VR games ..

VR gaming is still at a nascent stage , down the line when the VR fever catches up , whoever has the most number of titles will dominate the VR field for a long time to come  , FB is trying really hard to make this happen by buying any interesting VR startup in the field...

nintendo kuda plan chesthundi to launch a ground breaking VR console sometime next year..

I've personally played a couple of games on Oculus and HTC vive i must say the experience is just surreal , its definitely going to be the future of gaming ...

Honestly ,we are making decent money off of our venture but i wouldn't call it a ground breaking success , there's still a lot of work to do and i think we just got started , also , i think I just got lucky with my investment and the people that I invested in it , Its more like a right place right time thingy ..

also , hiring fresh engineering grads is the worst mistake ever , I tried it in the past and I'm pretty sure that i'm never ever going to repeat that again , daani badulu midlevel employees ni hire cheskunte it'll be a more bang for ur buck ....

these fresh grads just get trained by u for free and they leave ur company as soon as they learn enough to make it through an interview , also these fckers alws gets on ur nerves and they need a lot of micromanagement , the're simply not worth ur time and energy, instead u can just pay a little more and get a midlevel guy that makes a lot of things easy for u .....
