There is no denying that the world is now increasingly acknowledging the allure of Indian beauty. At an event on September 25, 2016, Lopamudra Raut bagged the second runner-up spot at Miss United Continents, which was held in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Jeslyn Santos from the Philippines won the title of Miss United Continents. Raut received a cash prize of $15,000. She also won the Best National Costume sub-contest, which was designed by Melvyn Noronha.
