Experience: 6-8 Years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing

Job Description:

§  Research, design and develop applications using Tableau Desktop/Server

§  Solicit, obtain and understand  requirements from business analyst or customer

§  Experience in tableau implementations at least 2 end to end implementations experience (Requirement Gathering ,Data preparation, data integration to dashboards)

§  Experience in performance optimization and best practices in Tableau dashboard design and implementation

§  Experience with Tableau sizing and estimations

§  Experience with estimating license requirements

§  Expertise with installation and configuration of tableau server as cluster and high availability

§  Experience in end user training and support

§  Very good understanding of tableau security and various authentication systems

§  Upgrade experience of tableau 8x to 9x, 9x to 10x

§  Good with Migration of code from one environment to other

§  Experience with migration of reports to tableau from other reporting tools

§  Tableau certifications Desktop/Server ( Qualified Associate)

§  Technically strong at SSIS, should be able to create SSIS packages, building medium to complex transformations

 

Desired Skills:

§  End to End implementation experience with enterprise reporting tool like OBIEE, BO, Cognos

§  Implementation experience of data warehousing, data model, data marts in any technology stack

§  Experience in creating ETL procedures, Cubes, Reports, Scorecards and dashboards using MSBI tool stack of SQL Server 2008R2 & 2012

§  Excellent analytical and communication skills.

§  Good to Have - Advanced Tableau certification (Certified Professional)
