Angry on Land Lord , not giving me security deposit

We moved to our new house , we vacated the old  rental house and cleaned it , 

Home owner emo vent sariga maintain cheyyaledu ani godava , actually they did not tell us to use vent filters and did not mention any time in the contract 

we didn't know how to change also , they claim that we should change it every month ,unfortunately we didn't knew that , so there was lot of dark color in the vent area , 

so they are not giving me security deposit , Nenu small claims court lo case veddamu anukuntunna , like they jeopardized my health by not informing me about changing the filter for vent , and also they are not giving my security deposit back

 

what are your thoughts on small claim court

Kitchen vent kadu , we live in a house , heater / cooler ke common system untadi , furnace ke filter vadutharu around 10 to 15 dollars untadi , monthly marchalii 

So dani valla , vent sorrounding motham black ga ayyindi , out side clean cheyyatam chala easy , but vallu , memu filter vadaledu ani godava 

total ventilator repair ani chepparu , so that is the problem
