yeah, you deal with a lot of 'facts' sure. Is it possible that one could've mixed up names in a hurry?

its not about mixing up of names...both afzal guru and yakub had nothing to do with kashmir oppression....they were terrorists ..

maybe i don't understand dalits entirely but dalit atrocities is a reality. no body denies it. however at some point there has to be a truth and reconciliation. but some people have this forever victimhood and inferiority complex. this will not do them any good. they got the opportunities, grab them and go up the ladder be successful and show the world. let the bat do the talking. this joining left unions shouting yakub, afzal slogans and abusing hinduism will do them no good. its of no use

rhetoric will take you only so long...

-- what historical mistakes you taking about particularly --vis a vis Pak and Kashmir ..BJP is doing much better than prev govts ...econimic front also..rectifying a lot of things...

-- lot of initiatives for the down trodden and an PM who constantly reminds that the govt is for everyone...

--insurance plans for poor and gas subsidy ...lot of other welfare programs..

--what contentious issues...and among whom....particulars ...

--NITI ayog is a step towards decentralization....GST also has equal stake for state and representation ...

--and you are very right Indian civilization is atleast 5000 yrs old ...and it will survive dont worry....:)

-- demographics is a problem...at lease the stake holders need to know the truth about TFRs and the mass conversions...nothing wrong in decimating info..

but all this is not required man....as i said you are one person who has got everything sorted out...

It looks like you are the confident one here, whereas I question both the left and right's madness.

You are simply unable to come to terms that right is equally bad as the left.

historical mistakes - shutting down anti reservation rhetoric in strong terms - NO.

inclusive - PM does good lipservice. actually shouts at the top of his voice like a roadside rowdy, scaring stakeholders other than the in-group to not bother collecting their share. Nice tactic - NO

Social welfare - education, nutrition and health care - NO

Contentious Issues - Kaveri issue. - LOL NO.

Decentralization - Jayalalitha's letters to the PM on finance commission and GST proves it is not for decentralization - NO

Civilization - while maggots eat its inside. the civilization is that awesome to survive another 1lakh years.

demographics - TFRs are high for north Indian Hindus too. May be its time to stop them coming into south India and attempt to change demographics.???

hmm...i argue that Indian right (BJP/RSS in this case) is better than the left (congress/communist parties) because ...i consider myself as RWinger ...i never denied that......and the Right in Indian context has not been in power for enough time yet to be judged/branded in the same token as the left...

if the voters get fed up of Right as much as they are of the left ..then they will throw them out...but at least in India ..2019 is advantage Modi ...left is simply a gone case....let them chase fake gau rakshak cases and sell the notion that Kashmir has nothing to do with pak and religion .....no one will buy it....

cool....

voters are not fed up of the 'left'. Most of them don't know what 'left' is.

Anyway I agree that BJP is slightly better than Congress in India. But none of these parties are 'left'. Congress is just a touch more liberal and more manipulative.

BJP is like a bull in a china shop. too self destructive.

what do you expect BJP to do man, is that a clean slate program to make clear and clean right at the moment you stick in to a system... give them some time, its been only two years and look the way they are trying.. 60 years rule by congress fcuked up India, at least give 60 months of time to BJP to make a better way at least.

For  starters, stop with the Hindi imposition. revisit the GST. revisit finance commission. Rest I don't care, because most of them are state subjects, anyway.

BJP should be trying to put more money into state coffers, not take more away.

last finance commission actually puts more money to state. center actually gave away part of its tax share and asked states to spend that money on wellfare like health

that's what they said. Its not true. devil is in the details. they increased surcharges, which don't go the central pool, but direct to the central govt.

In effect, most states will get lesser than they previously used to. because though their share of the central pool is increased, the central pool itself is decreased. Jayalalitha explained this masterfully in her letter.

again, there's no sense in giving equal representation in NITI  Aayog after this slow centralization of pubic finances. BJP didn't even contest it.

again GST. LOL. what is the need for central govt to set state rates?

US doesn't have GST. Canada has a very flexible form of GST. Australia is the only country that has comparable GST.

The argument about single market makes no sense. India was always a single market. onerous tax obligations is BS reason.

GST essentially took away states rights of their finances. BJP after voting against it while in the opposition, shamelessly pushed it.

TN is a better developed state. its ok if it contributes more for central expenditures.
