Best place to live doesn't mean it has best chance to become silicon valley. I don't see anything that matches below in Denver. Austin has part of it because of Fortune 500 firms and UT Austin and it's proximity to many bigger cities. Univ are major contributing factor. CA has Cal tech, Stanford, UC Berkely all part of silicon valley start up scene. Denver has nothing like this. Austin has UT, Rice, TAMUCS
