Manchu Lakshmi reveals why she rejected Baahubali

It is a known fact what kind of name and fame the Shivagami character from Baahubali brought to Ramya Krishna. The character is the one of the most sought after ones in the film and Rajamouli initially, had Manchu Lakshmi in mind for that role.

 

Yes ! you heard it right. The same was revealed by Manchu Lakshmi when she appeared on a TV show yesterday. Adding further, Lakshmi said that as she found playing Prabhas’s mom quite funny and weird, she apparently rejected the role.

Rajamouli later requested Sridevi and Tabu and they too rejected the role which finally went to Ramya Krishna, who won several awards for the film.
