major disadvantage with HSA is  .... lets say you have 5000 contributed this year and only spend 1000 .. 4000 migilipoyayi anukolemu ... you have to carry forward and have to spend on medical expenses   or you have to pay tax and penalty on that amount to withdraw .... technically USA lo nee life anukuntee best ani naa feeling .... like old age vochee varuku aa amount big amount gaa pile up avuthundi but disadvantage also ... really big health issue vochi nee HSA amount saripokaa pothy????

my wife has some health issues and i am paying full deductile + out of pocket max. single's enduku annanu ante.. they will go less to hospitals and surgeries ani takkuva.

my company gives an estimate how much to contribute for HSA. also for prescription drugs, you have to pay full amount until your deductible is bet.. compare between 2 plans.. the amount for PPO will be higher and deductible will be low.. but out of pocket expanses for family will be high

HSA amount motham carry forward until 65 years. after that you can take out without any penalty.

I didnt get you man..in HSA when they say individual/family $3,000/$6,000 deductible means I remember they give a pre loaded card right with this amount to spend at doc office. Once the card money over then office visits cost 50% or less based on the plan. Am i in the right track..

change ur address on HR site of company. HSA will send letter askng for  proof of ssn and address change docs. dont send.

hsa will cancel account and send u money in 3months
