TRS Member of Parliament (MP) Kavitha had adopted Kandakurthi village in Nizamabad district, two years ago, under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yogana. Though initially some works like CT road towards Godavari river, adjoining the village were taken, there has not been much progress in the works. A school was upgraded and mineral water plant was set up. However, still a number of problems like drainages, library, primary health care centre etc., remain to be solved. Though promises were made and proposals were submitted, no funds have been sanctioned.
