Bareilly: Just a day after government announced the decision of demonetizing the 500 and 1000 rupee notes to curb the black money stashers, sacks full of notes were seen in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.

The burnt notes of 500 and 1000 rupee notes were reportedly brought in bags (gunny sacks) and then dumped by workers on Parsa Kheda road at the CB Ganj Bareilly of the UP state.

According to the Bareilly police the notes have been torn, cut, and damaged before they are burnt. The remains of the currency notes were taken and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) officials have been informed about the incident.
