Bank person runs away with currency

Mohali: A bank employee was given currency to be filled in ATMs but he ran away with the currency. The incident happened in Punjab.

 

The Assistant Bank Manager Tej Pratap Singh Bhatia working at Punjab Sindh Bank was given 6.98 lakh rupee currency notes to fill in the ATM. He was supposed to fill the ATM in Bunkerpur village of Mohali district but Bhatia ran away with the money.

 

Instead of going by office vehicle he said he will come by personal vehicle and did not do the job. His cell phone was switched off. Bank lodged complaint with the police.
