Hundi collections to be deposited in banks!

New Delhi: Following a deficit for small currency notes across the country now, Government of India all the temples and trusts to deposit the small currency notes at banks immediately.

 

Central Finance Secretary Sakthikanth Das Gupta ordered the temple trusts to make all the hundi collections as deposits at banks.

 

It is known that common people donate to temples in small currency notes and the government believes that the deposits could fill in the currency notes gap.
